WORKSHOPS IN
PRINTMAKING & SCREEN PRINTING
With Paul Jach
Printmaking - $60.00 10:00am - 1:00pm Saturday, March 24
This four hour workshop will explore three major printmaking techniques: mono print, linoleum cuts, and dry point. All supplies needed; plates, paper, ink and more will be provided by Jerry’s. Each participant will produce a plate and pull a print using one of these three techniques on our printing press (so bring sketches, designs or photos you would like to use to create your print). By the end of this workshop you will have gained strong knowledge of the fundamentals in printmaking and be able to continue to produce prints long after the
workshop.
Screen Printing - $60.00 2:30pm - 5:30pm Saturday, March 24
This four hour workshop will begin by showing participants how to set up a silkscreen work station for minimal cost, including how to stretch your own screens. This workshop will continue to explore three major screen printing techniques: stencil, block out, and photo emulsion. In this workshop, you will produce your own screen, which you will take home and be able to continue to use to print on paper or fabric. Bring sketches, designs or photos that you would like to use to create your screen. This workshop is great for anyone intimidated by or curious about the screen printing process. After this workshop, you will have the confidence and knowledge to continue to screen print for fine art and professional applications.
Printmaking and Silkscreen - $100.00 10:00am - 5:30pm
Allen & I wanted to thank VALLEY ARTS for a lovely evening (Monday)! We were honored to spend time and meet some new people that are affiliated with Valley Arts and their associated organizations.
We encourage any of you that are not familiar with Valley Arts to "look them up." They are dedicated, talented people, who are working hard to make our lives better, through art! Please learn more about Hands, Arts Unbound and Valley Arts. It's a FEEL GOOD thing!
If you would like to share your website or artwork with us. Please send your information to us at: info@jerrysartistoutlet.com
We hope that you will visit us and post your questions, information, etc.
Ideas for the Blog? Please feel free to send us suggrestions at our info@ address.
I have another question. What's the difference between using a flat, a filbert or a bright brush when oil painting? My teacher asks for filberts.

I heard that you were getting Lascaux Pearlescent Acrylics. Heard great things about them. When will you have them.
WHY IS IT THAT NO ONE ARTISTS ARE WRITING ON THIS BLOG?
This is new to me, but I'd love to share ideas with other artists!
We haven't had comments, questions, topics from you - our audience of artists! We would love to start a "forum" but we need your input.
Also, remember that we will link (appropriate)art/artists sites with our website - but we can not do that until we hear from you. If you do not "blog" us, then please write to us at info@jerrysartistoutlet.com
Thanks,
Bonnie
